Marketing Designer

Punchcut is currently seeking a dynamic Marketing Designer to join our team. This is an entry level position focusing on design but coordination and production tasks will be required. You should have at least one year of experience working in digital marketing, social media or graphic design and have excellent communication skills. We are excited to work with those remote and locally in San Francisco.

The Marketing Designer supports the team by designing and producing marketing assets for campaigns. They will assist with publishing, social media posts, help to prepare sales materials and provide project-specific administrative support.

Responsibilities

Design

  • Design key digital marketing communications
  • Design company internal and external website features
  • Create brand templates and marketing collateral
  • Design internal company communications
  • Design and build sales and marketing proposals & presentations

Publishing

  • Coordinate and source insightful content from team members
  • Upload into social media tools for review and publishing
  • Aggregate and publish content to marketing sites, email templates, etc.
  • Setup paid advertising campaigns and track results

Production

  • Produce graphical assets for digital communications
  • Manually implement and build functional templates
  • Help in the production of marketing videos and photography
  • Source images and maintain image libraries

Support

  • Review site analytics and web search results; prepare reports
  • Monitor social channel activity and respond appropriately
  • Perform general marketing research
  • Support SEO research and optimization
  • Provide logistical support for marketing events & appearances
  • Maintain marketing project plans and tracking tools

Qualifications

  • Have a degree in in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field
  • Bring a quality design portfolio, with strong graphic design and typography
  • Designs reflect innovative and appropriate design systems, solid typography, iconography, effective storytelling, and a meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrate an understanding of branding communications
  • Experience with social networking platforms
  • Self-starter, with strong sense of accountability and thrives in a fluid environment
  • Be detailed-oriented and organized
  • Be proactive in managing your own priorities and time
  • Thrive in a flexible and evolving environment where your priorities may change
  • Have proficiency in standard applications and software tools

Other Great Qualifications

  • Interest and enthusiasm for user experience and technology trends
  • Experience with site analytics and web search results
  • Working knowledge of CSS/HTML
  • Knowledge of video editing and motion design (After Effects)
